In March, I attended Digital Summit Series in Phoenix, which is the nation's largest conference for Digital Marketers!


Here are a few takeaways I learned:


1. Generation N is the pandemic-influenced generation who are distracted, anxious, short-focused, impatient, overwhelmed, and always on. As marketers, we have to break through this. - Brian Solis


2. Search, now, starts on social media. TikTok is the #1 search engine in the world. - Brian Solis


3. 40% of consumers are Gen Z, and they spend $840 Billion a year. - Sarah Weise


4. Gen Z can seamlessly switch between 5 screens, while Millennials can only switch been 3 screens. - Sarah Weise


5. The most important metrics to base a business podcast on are: brand awareness, authority, engagement with the website, increased content output, leads, and a good listener experience. - A. Lee Judge


6. Consumers want strong customer service, engagement, and memorable content. - Valerie Morrow


7. 70% of people dump emails into the trash based on the subject line alone. - Linda M.


8. When giving creative feedback include: context, consequence (preference or performance), clear-cut (specific and actionable), catch (call out problems, don't move right to solutions), consolidate (streamline feedback), and give
